Position Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer in Test (SET) for an innovative B2B SaaS product focused on next-gen groupware and IAM solutions. You'll ensure product quality by automating E2E test scenarios, testing across the web, Android, and iOS, and leveraging your strong coding and problem-solving skills. As part of an agile team, you'll contribute to delivering secure, high-performing solutions with a focus on quality and reliability.
Position Description
Job Duties & Responsibilities |
- Create and automate E2E test scenarios to validate user flows and ensure system functionality.
- Perform scalability testing to validate performance under load.
- Conduct cross-platform testing to ensure consistent behavior across multiple platforms.
- Perform manual testing when required, focusing on complex scenarios not easily covered by automated tests.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of clear test documentation, including test cases, results, and procedures.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development teams to ensure quality.

Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Develop and maintain automated tests for web and mobile (Android & iOS) applications (API, functional, integration, regression, E2E, and performance) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Strong coding skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience in creating E2E tests and integration testing.
- Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, gRPC).
- Experience with load and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- English communication skills.

Additional Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Knowledge of web communication protocols, including gRPC and OAuth2/OIDC.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS).
- Experience with React, TypeScript, and frameworks like Next.js.
- Background in B2B SaaS products, particularly those focused on security.

- We have a fantastic office in Nihonbashi, Tokyo (see photos here)
- In general, you can work remotely from home.
- The QA team will have weekly in-person meetings at the office to collaborate and socialize.
- Working from the Tokyo office may be required, such as during the first three months for onboarding.

Salary Range |
- Salary Range(※1): JPY 8,000,000 – JPY 11,000,000
- Estimated annual salary: Base Salary (12 months) + Bonus (Base salary x 1 month x twice a year = 2 months)
- Monthly salary system: Base salary is determined based on your skill set, experience, and abilities, etc.
- An allowance for additional overtime(※2)is included in the base salary. However, work exceeding additional overtime agreed to between the employer and employee will be compensated separately.
- Base monthly salary(※1): JPY 570,000 – JPY 790,000
The base monthly salary breakdown as follows:
- Base salary: JPY 434,250 – JPY 601,900
- Allowance for additional overtime(※2): JPY 135,750 to JPY 188,100
※Notes: 1. Depending on your skill set and experience, the amount set may be outside the above range. 2. Calculated based on 160 hours of scheduled working hours per month and 40 hours of additional overtime.
